Add/Update my Football Referee Information

Adding or updating your information on YesRef for verification is simple. Login to YesRef

go to your Profile > select Account > Sports > choose Football. This page will provide you with the option to update your Football Referee information.

Qualification

Before verifying your account on YesRef, we require evidence of your Football Referee Qualification. This can either be a copy of the certificate you received upon completing the course or affiliation evidence, as described below.

Q: How to invite your Parent/Guardian as a Sports Official?

As a Sports Official under the age of 18, we ask you to invite a Parent/Guardian to the Platform, to seek their approval for you to use the YesRef Platform. Registration During registration we ask you to add your Date of Birth, if you're under the age of 18, we ask you to add your Parent/Guardian's Name and Email Address. Upon completing registration, we'll send an email to the Parent/Guardian, asking them to create an account and approve your use of the platform. Renewing my Parent/Guardian Invitation If your Parent/Guardian invitation has expired, you can renew the invitation by visiting your Profile &gt; Account &gt; Personal Details and below your Date of Birth, adding in your Parent/Guardian's Name and Email Address and clicking Save. Checking my Parent/Guardian has approved my account To check to see if your Parent/Guardian has approved your account, you can visit your Profile &gt; Account &gt; Personal Details and you'll see your Parent/Guardian's Name below your Date of Birth. How to delete my account?

Requesting deletion of your account can be achieved through logging into your account or my chatting with us using the widget on the bottom right of our website.

Here's how to delete your account when logged in:

To delete your account, go to your Profile and select Account > Personal Details. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and you'll see the delete account option. Click this button and we'll begin the process of deleting your account.

Here's how to delete your account when you're not logged in:

To request deletion of your account when you're not logged in. Go to www.yesref.com and talk to us using the widget in the bottom right of the page. Let us know you're a current user and that you'd like to have your account deleted.

Alternatively, send us an email at support@yesref.co.uk and we'll begin this process for you.

How to invite your Parent/Guardian as a Sports Official?

As a Sports Official under the age of 18, we ask you to invite a Parent/Guardian to the Platform, to seek their approval for you to use the YesRef Platform.

Registration

During registration we ask you to add your Date of Birth, if you're under the age of 18, we ask you to add your Parent/Guardian's Name and Email Address. Upon completing registration, we'll send an email to the Parent/Guardian, asking them to create an account and approve your use of the platform.

Renewing my Parent/Guardian Invitation

If your Parent/Guardian invitation has expired, you can renew the invitation by visiting your Profile > Account > Personal Details and below your Date of Birth, adding in your Parent/Guardian's Name and Email Address and clicking Save.

Checking my Parent/Guardian has approved my account

To check to see if your Parent/Guardian has approved your account, you can visit your Profile > Account > Personal Details and you'll see your Parent/Guardian's Name below your Date of Birth. If this is blank, the account has not been approved by your Parent/Guardian and the invitation may need to be sent again.

The email that is sent to the Parent/Guardian will expire after 7 days, so it's important the Parent/Guardian completes the process during this time. What information is required to sign up?

Sports Organisations

As a Sports Organisation, you'll need to let us know who your Organisation Type is i.e. Club, Competition etc. confirmation of whether or not the Organisation is affiliated to the sport and provide proof that you belong to this Organisation.

Below are examples of proof we require, in essence, a document with your name your Organisation name:

In most cases your Organisation will already be available to choose from within YesRef but if it's not, you can select the option of creating a new organisation.

Sports Officials

As a Sports Official, the information required to register with YesRef depends on how you're using YesRef. Here are the different reasons for using YesRef:

To be Appointed to games
To Find games to officiate
To be Paid for games

For payments, other than your basic information, we require your bank details.

For Appointments and Finding games, as a minimum you'll need proof that you're a Sports Official. For particular sports, we'll require confirmation that you are:

Qualified and affiliated to your sport
Completed Safeguarding training in the last 2-3 years
Completed a DBS check in the last 3 years

Get started with Credit

With YesRef, you can add credit to your account, enabling access for one or more of your users to access, completely reducing the requirement to manage expenses claims from coaches and other members of your Organisation.

We offer two different options for adding Credit, select the option that's best for you:
