What notifications are sent in YesRef?

YesRef provides instant notifications via Email and Push notification messages direct to your mobile device, offering real time updates on Roles and Payments.


You can update notifications preferences in your Profile then Preferences.


Notifications that are sent for Games/Events include:


  • An available Role on the #LiveGamesList, that perfectly meet a Sports Officials preferences.
  • Applied for a Role on the #LiveGamesList
  • After a Sports Official is Appointed to a Game/Event by a Sports Provider
  • After a Sports Official has been paid for a Game/Event
  • After a Sports Official has paid for a Role that has been Applied for on the #LiveGamesList
  • After a Game/event has been edited by a Sports Provider
  • After a Game/Event has been deleted by a Sports Provider
  • After a Sports Official has been removed from a Role by the Sports Provider


Notifications that are sent regarding Assurance & Accreditation:

  • Affiliation due to expire (4 weeks before expiration and 1 day after)
  • Safeguarding due to expire (4 weeks before expiration and 1 day after)
  • DBS due to expire (4 weeks before expiration and 1 day after)



How To Update Your Notification Preferences


  1. Login to YesRef




  1. Click the initials in the top right-hand corner or if you are using the app, click profile in the bottom right-hand corner




  1. Click "Manage Profile"




  1. Click "Preferences"




  1. Toggle on or off, Push Notifications or Email notification




  1. Click "Save" to update your preferences.
