# YesRef Payments Explained

YesRef Provides a seamless solution for Sports Providers to Pay Sports Officials for games or events they Officiate. Since YesRef's inception in August 2021, we has paid out over £3,500,000 to Sports Officials across 25+ different Sports.

As a Sports Official, you will be required to have a YesRef account, with your bank details submitted in your profile. Sports Providers can then allocate you to a game for you to Accept the Role. Sports Providers can then pay you directly into your chosen bank account via YesRef.
