# What notifications are sent in YesRef?

YesRef provides instant notifications via Email and Push notification messages direct to your mobile device, offering real time updates on Roles and Payments.

|| You can update notifications preferences in your Profile then Preferences.

Notifications that are sent for Games/Events include:

* An available Role on the #LiveGamesList, that perfectly meet a Sports Officials preferences.
* Applied for a Role on the #LiveGamesList
* After a Sports Official is Appointed to a Game/Event by a Sports Provider
* After a Sports Official has been paid for a Game/Event
* After a Sports Official has paid for a Role that has been Applied for on the #LiveGamesList
* After a Game/event has been edited by a Sports Provider
* After a Game/Event has been deleted by a Sports Provider
* After a Sports Official has been removed from a Role by the Sports Provider

Notifications that are sent regarding Assurance & Accreditation:

* Affiliation due to expire (4 weeks before expiration and 1 day after)
* Safeguarding due to expire (4 weeks before expiration and 1 day after)
* DBS due to expire (4 weeks before expiration and 1 day after)

# How To Update Your Notification Preferences

1. Login to YesRef

2. Click the initials in the top right-hand corner or if you are using the app, click profile in the bottom right-hand corner

3. Click "Manage Profile"

4. Click "Preferences"

5. Toggle on or off, Push Notifications or Email notification

6. Click "Save" to update your preferences.
