# Security at YesRef

Security is our top priority. We are committed to continually investing in our infrastructure to ensure the data we collect is safe and secure. Here is how we protect your data:

* We are a registered data controller with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and always comply with the Data Protection Act, view our [certificate](https://ico.org.uk/ESDWebPages/Entry/ZA729298)
* We are part of the Governments National Cyber Security Centre (NSCS) and listed on the directory of organisations awarded Cyber Essentials
* We never store or can access your bank details
* We never transfer data outside of the UK
* We use a secure methodology across the whole site via AES256 TLSv1.3. We also use this methodology for encrypting the transfer of data from browsers to our servers, storing data and backing up data
